Five Star Boarding House and Dar-e-Fatima are the flagship residential care programmes of Saleem Welfare Foundation (SWF) in Sukamaidan, Skardu, providing a safe home, quality education and lifelong opportunity for orphaned children across Baltistan.
At Five Star Boarding House, orphaned and vulnerable boys receive stable residential accommodation, formal schooling, nutritious meals, healthcare access, supervised study mentoring and character development. Alongside our broader healthcare, ambulance, scholarship and relief initiatives, this flagship home gives young boys the security and encouragement they need to thrive.

Dar-e-Fatima — Girls’ Orphanage
Dar-e-Fatima is Saleem Welfare Foundation’s flagship girls’ orphanage in Skardu, providing protected residential care and comprehensive support for orphaned girls across Baltistan. The programme brings safe accommodation, formal schooling, healthcare, protection, emotional wellbeing and personal development together in a nurturing environment built around dignity and belonging.
Every resident is supported with dedicated care, educational continuity and strict child safeguarding so she can look toward her future with confidence.
